Let's ride to Clockshop's 6th Annual Community & Unity People’s Kite Festival at LA State Historic Park on a 4.7-mile route.
About this Event

Every year, Clockshop’s Kite Festival breathes joy into our city—filling Los Angeles Historic Park and the sky above it with color and connection. This year’s festival is organized around the theme Take a Breath. We'll embody this theme by riding at a relaxed pace, on a low-stress route of 4.7 miles. Taking this opportunity to be present in our surroundings and feel the air that we breathe. By being mindful of our transport choices, we take steps in our commitment to protecting our planet.

After docking our bikes and before entering the festival, this ride with converge at Chinatown Station with the hosted by BikeLA and LADOT where all participants will get a chance to hear from partner organizations including Sunset 4 All regarding the Sunset/Chavez Mobility Project. There will also be a chance to give feedback on the project and learn more about future events. To learn more about the project and provide feedback, click here: share your opinions and learn more at https://ladotlivablestreets.org/projects/sunset

We will then walk together to Clockshop’s Kite Festival. Which is a lively, all-ages experience featuring free art workshops, live music, artist installations, and a community kite competition. Hosted at Los Angeles State Historic Park, the festival transforms the space into a hub of creativity, cultural expression, and environmental reflection, celebrating the diverse communities of Los Angeles while encouraging joyful use of shared outdoor space.

*Please note, this is one way feeder ride to the festival. Riders will be on their own to arrange transportation away from the festival. A personal personal bike parking area will be provided inside the festival.
