About this Event
Join the Macular Society for an informative talk about macular eye conditions with a focus on AMD ( age-related macular degeneration). You will learn about the condition, risk factors, current research and how the charity the Macular Society can support those living with AMD.
Staff from Brent Libraries will then deliver a short presentation on the accessible features of our library stock for people living with visual impairments. This event is being delivered as part of HiVis Fortnight supporting people with sight loss to access libraries.
