About this Event
In a land of daring quests, dashing knights, and endless jousting, there lived a would-be hero - waiting in the wings - who went by the name of Arthur. When Camelot is rocked to it’s core by a tragic - and frankly improbable - incident involving a large table of an undisclosed shape, Arthur is thrust into the quest of a lifetime. Will he bravely battle through blistering cold and scorching fire to save his beloved realm, or will he crumble as fate refuses to cooperate?
Destiny awaits, chivalry calls, and the quest to end all quests begins. Saddle up - things are about to get legendary.

On Tuesday 21st July, join us at Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens. Bring your own cushions, and camping-chairs and join us for this most epic of quests. Come prepared for the weather - the performance will continue come rain come shine!
This performance is an outdoor performance. We recommend that you bring blankets/chairs/cushions etc. to sit on. Come prepared for the weather with warm coats and waterproofs etc, as the performance will continue come rain come shine! We ask that you don’t bring umbrellas as these can obscure the view for other people in the audience. 4pm start time, gates open from 3pm. The performance will last approximately 100 minutes (+ a 20 minute interval).
The Courtyard Cafe will be raring to go for King Arthur and the Holy Fail. Run by fabulous volunteers, it offers a casual, friendly and pretty spot to idle away an hour or so. The cafe cabin may be small but offers a good selection of food and drinks. You won't be able to resist the delicious cakes and bakes produced locally and by staff and volunteers. Choices vary according to the day and season, but think chocolate and caramel brownies, spiced apple cake, oaty cookies, Victoria sponge and toasted tea cakes. At lunchtime, the cafe serves their famous toasties, hopefully with tasty homemade chutney!
During the warmer months the bar is fully stocked with Pimm's, white wine and refreshing cider, whilst the freezers are full of cool ice creams. The Summer also happens to be perfect for the Cream Teas in a Box which make ideal theatre-watching treats.
Picnics are welcome but alcohol must not be brought on site.
We recommend booking tickets for this performance online in advance. For further information about this performance please email [email protected].
