Jenni Barry is the instructor and has been creating Kimekomi art for many years. Kimekomi is a unique art form that combines the painterly quality of Impressionism with the warmth of intricate quilting. Each piece is made using fabric tucked into a foam board; no sewing is involved. She teaches the basics of this unique art, including the fundamentals of design, selecting the right fabric, and tucking techniques. All materials & tools are supplied including beginner patterns to use for the design. If participants have favorite fabrics, they are encouraged to bring those to class. Participants are also encouraged to bring water & a snack. Fee: $50
