Kilburn Coffee Morning : 'Flourish: Queer Ecology in the Garden' Join us at Kilburn Coffee Morning to explore the fascinating connection between queer identity and ecological sustainability in the garden!
About this Event

This Pride Month workshop explores gender fluidity across the natural world — from plants that change sex to worms, snails, and other animals that blur biological binaries.

Through a short illustrated talk, light discussion, and a simple hands-on gardening activity, we’ll reflect on how ecology challenges fixed ideas of gender and what it can teach us about diversity, adaptability, and flourishing beyond neat categories.
(No gardening experience needed.)

Part of the The National Year of Reading 2026 which is a UK-wide campaign designed to inspire more people to make reading a regular part of their lives.
