About this Event

Our town is participating in Kids Day America/International™, which is an international health, safety, and environmental awareness day for children. This event will be taking place in hundreds of cities on the same day, at the same time, throughout the world.

The Mayor and Governor will be proclaiming it an official day to help children. The local law enforcement will be on hand to provide safety educational tips. The local fire department will be providing fire prevention and safety information.

We will also have other programs available, such as car seat safety, bicycle safety, and internet safety.

There will be free health and scoliosis screenings, orthodontic teeth assessments, drug awareness information, etc. The event is free to the whole community, benefits The Wounded Warrior Project, and there will be food, characters, balloons, and fun for all of the kids.
