Kids Art Workshop: Make Your Own Sketchbook, An Intro to book binding

In this hands on kids art workshop, participants will design and create their very own sketchbook from start to finish. Kids will learn simple book binding techniques while designing a personalized cover based on their interests, favorite things, and creative ideas.

We will guide students step by step through sketching, outlining, coloring, and assembling their sketchbooks using kid friendly tools and materials. The focus is on creativity, confidence, and enjoying the process rather than perfection. Each child will leave with a finished sketchbook they can use at home for drawing, writing, or creative play.

The workshop is relaxed, welcoming, and designed for kids ages 5 and up. Parents are welcome to join, but each participant must have their own ticket so we can provide enough materials for everyone. Seating is limited to keep the group small and ensure a great experience for all attendees.

This is a great introduction to book making and a fun way for kids to explore art in a supportive, screen free environment.
