Open Hearth — hosted by Yakisugi Studios — is a weekly invitation to tend the fire of community during the darkest season.
As the days shorten and isolation quietly creeps in, Open Hearth offers a simple, radical alternative: show up.
Show up to remind yourself that your existence matters.
Show up to be witnessed without needing to perform.
Show up to sit in a space that is not your workplace and not your home.
Bring the project you’ve been procrastinating.
Bring the idea that needs warmth, not pressure.

Introverts are especially welcome. This is not forced interaction or small talk.It’s companionship without obligation—alone, together.
We gather around the hearth to read, write, reflect, listen, and simply be. Some nights you may speak. Some nights you may stay silent. All forms of presence are valid.
