Old songs, new songs, work songs, play songs, land songs, sea songs, and no experience necessary! Join us on Monday, January 5th, 7:00–9:00 p.m. (and then come back on the first Monday of every month!), at Novare Res in Portland (4 Canal Plaza).
We will sing songs that allow everyone to join in, with choruses that are easy to pick up on the spot. Everyone is welcome to take a turn or two leading! We have had a good time with everything from Appalachian folk songs to jazz standards to spirituals to sea chanteys to Irish drinking songs to Country classics — if the room can catch on, it belongs! Expect spontaneity, humor, harmony, and new friends.
