Kids and teens are invited to join us every second Sunday of the month for their very own Open Mic! Hosted by Stefan Hayes, and starting at 3pm and going to 4pm (or later if needed!). Sign-up starts at 2:30. Kitchen is open, and drinks & food are available throughout!Many of you have talented children, but the thought of taking them to a regular Open Mic Night terrifies them (and you). Well, here's your solution! Every second Sunday from 3 to 4pm (longer, if more kids sign up), Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery hosts an Open Mic strictly for kids & teens, ages 16 and under.
We have a professional soundman, a full backline, and a great host/music instructor, Stefan Hayes, handling the show. Stephen's personality and experience as a music instructor makes him the perfect host for our first kids & teens Open Mic!
The environment is respectful and ideal for young or inexperienced performers to rid themselves of performance jitters or to prepare for upcoming performances, such as recitals
