About this Event
We’re thrilled to welcome bestselling author Lola Jaye to our Book Club this April for a special, intimate afternoon of conversation and connection.
To prepare, you can choose to read either — or both! — of her powerful novels: The Attic Child and The Manual for Good Wives. Together, we’ll explore the themes, inspiration, and stories behind her unforgettable characters in an inspiring live discussion with the author herself.
Lola Jaye is a London-born author, psychotherapist and speaker whose storytelling beautifully explores identity, resilience and human connection. Her novels weave rich historical detail with deeply emotional narratives, creating stories full of heart and complexity. Beyond her writing, she also speaks on mental health and creativity, bringing warmth, insight and compassion to every conversation.
Haven’t read the book yet? No problem at all — everyone is welcome! We’ll provide a helpful summary on the day so you can fully enjoy and take part in the conversation.
Plus, enjoy free cake and patties as we gather for thoughtful conversation, community, and a truly special literary experience. Guests will also receive 20% off food and drinks during the event — we kindly encourage you to support the venue and make the most of the afternoon.
We can’t wait to see you there!
