About this Event
For almost ten years, has been working to make the visual effects and animation industries more diverse, inclusive and accessible.
At the heart of this work is our free global e-mentoring programme, connecting nearly 4,000 aspiring artists and professionals with experienced mentors from across the industry.
This network supports:
- Students trying to break into the industry
- Career changers navigating a new path
- Freelancers and early-career artists
- Parents returning to work
- First-generation creatives without industry connections
Mentorship helps people understand how the industry works, avoid costly mistakes, and build confidence before they land their first job. For many participants, it’s the difference between feeling shut out of the industry and feeling like they belong.
Running a global mentoring network at this scale requires platform infrastructure, safeguarding, volunteer coordination and ongoing support. To keep the programme free and accessible to everyone, ACCESS:VFX is raising £10,000 to sustain the programme for the year ahead.
This special fundraising evening at brings the VFX and animation community together for a relaxed night of connection and support. Alongside drinks and nibbles, there’ll be a raffle and prize draw, plus a surprise guest speaker!
If you’ve ever benefited from mentorship, care about social mobility in the creative industries, or want to support the next generation of talent, we’d love you to join us.
Together, we can turn access into opportunity.
We’ve got an incredible raffle lined up, with over £3,000 worth of prizes up for grabs on the night, including software licenses, training courses and more.
