๐Š!๐€๐‘๐“ will present a selection of solo and duo compositions for keyboard and guitar at the aesthetic intersection of contemporary music, microtonality, clusters, folk and dreamy visions. Afterwards ๐Œ๐š๐๐ฌ ๐Š๐ฃ๐ž๐ฅ๐๐ ๐š๐š๐ซ๐ will play a computer music set using their system for performance, improvisation, and composition: M.A.S.S (Modular Algorithmic Sound System), an abstract instrument of compositions and compositional decisions that has been developed by Kjeldgaard over the past years. By combining elements of algorithmic composition, geometric rhythms, and generative music techniques, this instrument enables a wide range of musical explorations in electronic music. The concert will be improvised using M.A.S.S. and will move through a musical landscape inspired by J.S. Bach, New Yorker Minimalism, and silly 1990's Japanese Game Soundtracks.
