The Children’s Book Bank will host an engaging storytime reading at Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre. This interactive session will feature vibrant stories celebrating multiculturalism brought to life by Book Bank volunteers through expressive read-alouds and audience participation. These storytimes are designed to foster community through the joy of storytelling. This event takes place from 2:00PM- 2:45PM.
Get ready to dance, sing, and celebrate at an outdoor family dance party on the Dixon Hall lawn with DJ Jennifer Kruk! Perfect for children, families, and adults alike, this high-energy community event will feature music, dancing, face painting, games, prizes, trivia, and interactive activities for all ages to enjoy together in the sunshine.
Jennifer Kruk’s “Let the Good Times Roll Family DJ Show” transforms the lawn into a lively party atmosphere filled with sing-a-longs, movement, laughter, and nonstop fun. Whether you’re showing off your dance moves, getting your face painted, or joining in on interactive games, this welcoming event is all about bringing the community together through music, creativity, and joyful connection. This event takes place from 3:00PM-7:00PM.

Accessibility for Dixon Hall: This event will take place outdoors, on the grass, in a slightly hilly area. Picnic tables and seating are limited but available. Be sure to bring hats, suncreen and appropriate clothing for outdoor weather.
