About this Event
This event marks the launch of the completed assessment and will share the key findings, priority themes, and recommendations for improving health and wellbeing outcomes for people in contact with the criminal justice system.
The JHNA has been developed to build a stronger understanding of local need and inequality, and to support a more coordinated, evidence-informed response across services and partnerships in Birmingham. The event will bring together stakeholders from across health, justice, local government, the voluntary and community sector, and related systems.
The launch will provide an opportunity to:
- hear an overview of the Justice Health Needs Assessment
- explore the main findings and recommendations
- reflect on implications for policy, commissioning and service delivery
- recognise the importance of lived experience and partnership working
- connect with partners and stakeholders across the system
