Resident DJ: Henderson**
Henderson’s DJ journey began in school (1976–1978) at The Shack youth club. From 1987–1992, he built a name playing boogie, rare groove, and soul alongside a roster of notable names: Madhatter Trevor, Bobbi & Steve, Jerry Lewis, Trevor Griffiths, Colin Dale, and legends Dez Parkes and Paul “Trouble” Anderson. After a hiatus (1992–2023), he resurfaced at Poetic Funk and, with support from close friend Manish, secured a residency at No: 26 and The Horse & Groom (Curtain Road). His monthly event, Just Good Grooves, continues to grow in popularity.
Tom: likes to be known as the reluctant DJ and will enhance any event with his unique selection of jazz funk and 70’s soul music
Nick Hosier: making his Just Good Grooves, Nick began his DJ journey in the 70s as a warm-up DJ for the late Derek Boland at the legendary Whitehouse and Warehouse parties across London. Originally a soul boy, his sound now incorporates jazz as can be heard on his renowned long-running weekly ‘Jazz Workshop’ show on Stomp Radio (every Wednesday 10pm-1am).
Jenny Browning: After playing for Choice FM Ladies Choice nights in the mid-nineties and at weddings and parties Jenny B has been back on the decks for 2 years playing jazz, jazz funk, funk, boogie and soul for Poetic Funk, Poetic Jazz, the BBE store, Soul Mama, Ton of Brix, Rolling Stock and Mr & Mrs Wedderburn .... Jenny is always torn between being on the dancefloor and playing for it
Mr D-Lyte & DJ Moka: these two are guaranteed to light up any event whether it be their overall infectious bubbly personality or behind the decks with their sounds - their potential has no bounds
Dom Hart: has a wealth of soul music knowledge behind him and is now resuming his DJ journey in the capital.
