Junkerry's "TOGETHER APART" presents a contemporary audiovisual spectacle, natively composed and delivered in cutting edge Spatial Audio with ground breaking visuals by award winning artists.This immersive feast is closer to an art experience than a conventional audiovisual show. It unfolds in 5 chapters, telling stories of how we divide, unite, disconnect or belong. The all female team of visual artists includes acclaimed 4D artists Lucy Hardcastle (London) and Natalia Oliwaik (Poland) along with award winning dome artists Alice Kilkenny and Em Briselden-Waters
Bringing this innovative music art show to fruition has been an incredible journey. It began in 2020 when Junkerry conducted interviews with a diverse array of people including children, philosophers and friends. Their generous contributions shaped exploration into themes of Belonging, Loneliness, Inclusion, and Togetherness. With those insights, Junkerry wrote a 55 minute score, in five chapters, recorded 10 incredible musicians hailing from 8 countries. And collaborated with an all female team of award winning visual artists, who each brought their own unique perspective to a chapter.

Event takes place in the Thinktank Planetarium on Thursday 4 July 2024, 7pm - 8pm. (Doors open 6.45pm)
Note: due to the layout of the building, no late entry will be permitted after the doors have closed. Doors will close 5min after the start time for each screening. Tickets are non-refundable.
This event is a musical and visual experience, therefore contains non-astronomy content.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please give yourself extra travelling time when driving to Thinktank as there are roadworks and diversions across the city centre which can cause delays.
Entry is via the Level 3 Event Suite, accessible from level 3 of Millennium Point.
