Originally a woodwind specialist on the tenor sax, flute, and clarinet, he shifted his primary focus to the piano in junior high, developing the masterful technique and signature style that have since become his forte.
As a self-taught composer, conductor, lyricist, and pianist, Woods brings a rare level of craftsmanship to every project. His extensive credits include:
Original Artistry: Writing, arranging, producing, and mastering every track on the album So Smooth under the N2L Record label.
Collaborative Production: Producing and arranging "Mine All Mine" on the Onyx1 CD Right Now, featuring the soulful vocals of Terrence Forsythe.
Global Performance: Gracing world-class stages alongside legendary acts such as The Four Tops, The Las Vegas Rat Pack, and the Nova Scotia Mass Choir.
