About this Event
Julia Tolmie, Denise Wilson and Rachel Smith: "Victim-Survivors Of Intimate Partner Violence Who Are Forced To Participate In Crimes: Are They Treated Fairly In The Criminal Law" from the New Zealand Women's Law Journal 2023.
The Legal Tea is ecstatic to have Julia Tolmie, Denise Wilson and Rachel Smith joining our students for a session of The Legal Tea. All three are incredible criminal law lectures and academics across Aotearoa. This is a thought provoking article which will involve discussing the article at hand, and how we can work together as future lawyers to make the profession a better place.
We will be exploring their piece on Criminal law "Victim-Survivors Of Intimate Partner Violence Who Are Forced To Participate In Crimes: Are They Treated Fairly In The Criminal Law".
Reading this piece is not necessary to attend!
