Join us for Joy in the Village: Black Maternal Health Week Community Gathering, a free, welcoming space centered on Black maternal wellness, connection, and community voice.

Hosted by BCDI Ohio in partnership with The Empowerment Foundation and sponsored by bi3, this event brings together mothers, families, caregivers, and providers to learn, share, and build stronger systems of support from pregnancy through early childhood.

• Education & Action Workshops Learn how to navigate healthcare systems, ask the right questions, and advocate for yourself and your family.
• Prenatal to Three Mental Health Sessions Gain a deeper understanding of maternal mental health, including signs to look for and ways to seek support.
• Joy & Community Celebration Space Experience a space rooted in culture, connection, storytelling, and collective healing.
• Resource & Connection Hub Meet local doulas, community organizations, and providers offering trusted support and services.

This is more than an event. It is a space to feel seen, supported, and connected. Whether you come to learn, share, or simply be in community, you are welcome here.
