Sideman turned songwriter Jon Tyler Wiley spent most of 2018 and 2019 recording his debut record, "The Longing," performing all instruments himself. When the record was delayed by the 2020 pandemic and lockdown, his band, he instead began recording and releasing music with his band. After a year of recording and releasing singles, look for Jon Tyler Wiley & His Virginia Choir performing in a town near you. Wiley's solo release, "The Longing," was finally released to critical acclaim in February of 2022.
