MORE!” …And so we shall deliver.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of laughter and music! Hosted by Sonia Sawkar and showcasing hilariously talented stand-up comedians Tergel Purevdorj, Clara Bijl and Elisha Tan in this first-of-its-kind comedy event at Music City San Francisco. These hilarious ladies are ready to bring the house down with their unique humor and diverse perspectives.
After the stand-up comedy show get ready to mingle and dance to the electrifying tracks
spun by none other than our fellow comedian and skilled DJ Tergel! Tergel has DJ’ed at
Burning Man so y’all better get your dancing shoes polished and ready! Or at least wear a
flower crown.
All ticket proceeds will go to paying our performers so they can continue to convince themselves that they can make a living off of stand-up comedy. Help support Women Bay Area artists and have fun in the process!

More about our funny ladies:
Sonia Sawkar (host) is a San Francisco-based, stand-up comedian, pharmacist, writer
and actor. Last year she wrote, directed and performed in the one woman comedy show,
Baby Coconut while 6 months pregnant. Sonia’s humor largely surrounds her miraculous
ability to transform her generational trauma into stellar parenting. Last year she competed
in the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival. Perhaps one day Punchline and Cobb’s

Tergel Purevdorj is heralded as the 4th funniest Mongolian-American comic living in San
Francisco. After working as a product designer for Apple TV in her 20s, she left the tech
industry to pursue a career in film, because she hated making money. While living in LA in
2022, she learned to DJ to impress a cute guy and has been keeping up the facade ever
since, having performed on various stages across California and the world. Intoxicated by
the limelight, she soon found her voice through stand-up comedy and hasn’t stopped

Elisha Tan is a San Francisco-based comedian who made history as the first Singaporean
to headline the iconic Punch Line San Francisco. Known for her quick wit and infectious
energy, Elisha transforms the challenges of navigating a new culture and society’s
expectations of women into relatable, hilarious stories. Her comedy journey has taken her
all over the world, including the USA, Singapore, Germany, Ireland, and the UK. She has lit
up numerous stages including the Laugh Factory, Cobb’s Comedy Club and many more.

Clara Bijl is a Berkeley-based, internationally unknown French-American stand-up
comedian. Clara’s witty and observational humor comes with a European twang. She has
appeared in numerous festivals including SF Sketchfest and Edinburgh Fringe. She has
performed with renowned comedians such as the late Robin Williams, Richard Lewis, Dana
Gould and many more. Clara performs regularly in both French and English. She has two
comedy albums and once spent many hours stranded on a broken escalator due to a power outage. Follow her Instagram
