The Sampaguitas
The Sampaguitas sing Filipino folk songs in three-part harmony. Formed after singing at a hootenanny for Filipino American History Month in October 2022, Jenevieve Francisco, Cristina Ibarra and Aireene Espiritu were inspired to continue to share and explore music from their roots. Ibarra and Francisco were part of the band, Hitsville Soul Sisters, singing Motown and original tunes influenced by legendary girl groups such as The Supremes and 90s R&B while Espiritu plays a mix of stompin, swaying, timeless Americana. Sampaguita is the national flower of The Philippines and only fitting to describe the sweet sounds coming from their melded vocal textures, tones, and tight harmonies.

Joe Sikelianos
Joe Sikelianos is an indie folk artist hailing from Santa Barbara, California. Growing up surrounded by musicians, artists and poets, Joe developed an innovative songwriting style that seamlessly blends textural guitar picking, and dreamy vocal harmonies with a distinctive americana and folk-infused instrumentation. Drawing inspiration from legends such as The Shins, The Kinks and The National, Sikelianos takes his listeners on a mesmerizing aural journey, blending organic and electric guitars, as well as captivating rhythms, with a complexity of melody and genre-bending. His connection to nature as an arborist reflects in a vibrant tapestry of sound, carrying the listener to a wide sonic landscape with his evocative lyrics and enchanting melodies.
