Ten wieczór koncertowy zapowiada się wyjątkowo. Nie tylko dlatego, że usłyszymy na naszej scenie dwa koncerty i ośmiu muzyków z czterech krajów (USA / Niemcy / Ukraina / UK), lecz też dlatego, że będziemy u nas gościć legendarne światowe i europejskie postacie free jazzu. Jest nam wyjątkowo miło zaprosić Państwa na święto muzyki improwizowanej na którym w pierwszej części wieczoru wystąpi kwartet z niemieckim saksofonistą HANS PETER HIBY i perkusistą WILLI KELLERS na czele (bliskimi stałymi współpracownikami i przyjaciółmi nieodżałowanego Petera Brötzmanna) wraz z saksofonistą TOBIAS DELIUS i niezwykłym kontrabasistą REZA ASKARI. Natomiast w drugiej części wieczoru usłyszymy koncert legendarnego 85-letniego saksofonisty JOE MCPHEE, z jednym z prekursorów improwizacyjnej gry na puzonie STEVE SWELL, wybitnym ukraińskim kontrabasistą MARK TOKAR i wyjątkowym niemieckim perkusistą KLAUS KUGEL. Już nie możemy się doczekać! Zapraszamy bardzo serdecznie!

Joe McPhee:

🔸 Hans Peter Hiby | Tobias Delius | Reza Askari | Willi Kellers
Hans Peter Hiby:
Has been working as a musician and composer with various musicians in different musical situations since 1985, both as a player and as a band leader of his own groups. He worked with e.g.: Peter Brötzmann, Louis Moholo, Peter Kowald, Johannes Bauer and Steve Noble
Tobias Delius:
Tobias Delius began playing the tenor saxophone as a teenager and gained his first playing experience in the jazz scene in the Ruhr area from 1980. In 1983 and 1984 he lived in Mexico, where he gave concerts with the “Cuarteto Mexicano de Jazz” led by Franciox Tellez. He worked with e.g.: Han Bennink, Pat Thomas, Paul Lovens, Steve Lacy and Bill Frisell.
Reza Askari:
Reza Askari started playing the piano at the age of five. After graduating from high school, Askari began his music studies in 2006, majoring in electric bass in Cologne and later on double bass. Since October 2023, Reza Askari has been Professor of Jazz Bass at the University of Music in Würzburg (Germany). He worked with e.g.: Marc Ducret, Lee Konitz, Frank Gratkowski, Gerd Dudek, Max Herre and Clueso.
Willi Kellers:
born 1950 in Münster, he worked as a theater composer for the stages in Bochum and Cologne, Basel, Hamburg and the Burgtheater in Vienna. He played at numerous concerts and tours with, among others: Peter Brötzmann, Tony Oxley, Frank Wright, Albert Mangelsdorff, Peter Kowald, Manfred Schoof, Fred Frith, Charles Gayle and Cecil Taylor.
