A free local job fair delivered by Dr Scott Arthur MP (Edinburgh South West) in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)!
This event brings together local employers and support services to help residents explore job opportunities, seek advice, and take their next steps into work.
This event is open to:
- Jobseekers of all ages
- People exploring a career change
- Those returning to work
- Anyone looking for skills support and advice
When you arrive
To help manage numbers and ensure a comfortable experience, attendees must book a specific arrival time when registering.
Arrival times are staggered at 30 minute intervals
Please arrive as close as possible to your selected time. Once inside you are welcome to stay for the duration of the event.
What to expect on the day
- Meet employers and discuss vacancies
- Learn about training and skills opportunities
- Receive advice from support services
- Ask questions and explore next steps into employment
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with employers who are recruiting locally, including:

Some employers will be recruiting on the day, while others will be sharing information about current and upcoming opportunities.
