Irma Neumüller and Seth Sjöström are two Swedish musicians and composers, who connected through their mutual love for jazz and improvisation. The music is built on elements from the jazz tradition and the contemporary nordic jazz scene as well as the Swedish folk music heritage.
In this project they interpret their own original music as well as jazz standards and their favorite Swedish folk and pop songs in their unique and intimate setting.
The last couple of years, Irma and Seth have played in a lot of different projects and constellations, both in Sweden and Northern Europe, and they have both made themselves a name on the Nordic jazz scene.

Eeden
Irma Neumüller - vocals
Pip van Eeden - guitar
Dominik Witte - drums
Salim Bouamama - e-bass
Darius Blair - tenor saxophone
Joshua Milo - keys
Eeden makes music for the same reason they listen to music;
To feel connected.
To feel understood.
To step away from the chaos of every day life.
Eeden will take you into their own little universe. Their campfire-like songs give an orange glow to the greyness of wintery Berlin. With lyrical solos, soulful melodies and lyrics filled with metaphors and contradictions, guitarist and composer Pip van Eeden writes songs about her life since moving to Berlin. Combining their love for soul, singer-songwriter and jazz, the band Eeden makes music that intertwines the gentle with the complex, creating pieces that feel both familiar and refreshingly new. The jazz background of the musicians breathes depth into the simple, while keeping their songs honest, vulnerable, intimate and real. After listening you’ll land back on earth feeling a little warmer than you did before.

Theo Altmann - trumpet, electronics
Mads Riis - electric guitar
Mads and Theo met during their studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin and discovered a shared interest in lyrical improvisation.
Influenced by musicians such as Jakob Bro, Bill Frisell and Arve Henriksen, as well as Björk, Radiohead and Puce Mary, they quickly found a common ground, which is in search of something new without becoming arbitrary.
A visual influence was present from the very beginning, whether it was through inspiration from films or the realization of audiovisual projects. The resulting music could be described as cinematic without reproducing the kitsch and pathetics of conventional film music.
The project is very process-oriented, which is why the two are becoming more and more unified through regular rehearsals and playing.

Neil McCracken - Piano (SCT)
Liam Elion - Bass (IL)
Finn Seemann - Drums (DE)
FUTUR II is the project of three young international jazz musicians from Scotland, Israel and Germany who first met while studying together at the renowned Jazz Institute in Berlin.
The music reflects their respective musical and cultural backgrounds.
They play original compositions in which we also draw on contemporary and classical approaches to re-imagine well-known jazz standards in our own way, sometimes abstract, energetic, free and always embodying the jazz tradition.
Influences include Thelonious Monk, Brad Mehldau, Lage Lund, Will Vinson, John Taylor and Aaron Parks.

JOHANN GREVE QUARTETT
Bruno Bode - Sax,
Lajos Meinberg - Piano,
Leo Gerstner - Drums,
Johann Greve - Bass/comp
Johann Greve is a young double bassist and composer from Lower Saxony. Since moving to Berlin in 2019, he has worked as a sideman on a wide variety of projects and established himself in the young Berlin jazz scene.
His Quartet was founded in early 2023, though all members worked together before in different settings. The band recorded their debut album in March, which was produced by Michael Attias and is expected to be released at the end of the year.
""…It's always about energy, the interplay of gravity and centrifugal forces, which find a genuine unity with an incredible pull through an undefined mystery. It's not about stringing together virtuoso solo performances, but rather all participants push the expressive limits without getting in each other's way, and Greve himself forms the backbone of the whole with his powerful bass…""
- Wolf Kampmann, Jazz Thing (translated from German).

Prism Eye
Felix Ziebarth - trumpet/efx
Paul Feise - saxophone
Jasche Briand Søndergaard - guitar Chris Seargent - bass
Henry Hahnfeldt - drums
The PRISM EYE consists of five young musicians from the Berlin jazz scene and plays their own compositions, which can mainly be settled in modern jazz, whereby elements from pop, electro and rock cannot be ignored. The personal stories and backgrounds of the band members merge into a unique sound. PRISM EYE wants to reach its listeners and not frighten them away with too abstract melodies, whereby the improvisations don't do without virtuosity, of course!
Thrilling grooves, distorted trumpet sound and the interaction of the quintet take the listener on a journey through space and time and reach new states of consciousness with the audience.
""I could compare my music to white light, in which all colors are contained. Only a prism can separate these colors and make them visible, this prism could be the mind of the listener.” — Arvo Pärt
""We're all broken, that's how light comes in."" — Ernest Hemingway"
