Since launching her career in 2021, she’s carved out her own space, collecting big wins like NIMA’s New Talent of the Year and QMA’s Indigenous Artist of the Year in 2022. She continued that momentum with Best Pop and Song of the Year at the 2024 Queensland Music Awards and also won AIR’s Song of the Year, followed by taking out Indigenous Artist of the Year in 2025.
Jem’s sound has taken her across the globe – from five showcases at The Great Escape in the UK to a standout Like A Version performance of “The Sweet Escape.” She’s supported artists like Thelma Plum, Busby Marou, Peter Garrett, Tina Arena, Tim Finn and Dan Sultan.
