Set In the creative hub of Hackney Wick London @dcc.studios opens its doors offering a small number of artists a 2 hour intimate life drawing experience.

Sit within the bespoke hand painted set designs in real life, with professional studio lighting and study couture garment details close up. Meet the living muses of @jadorelavie_ Immerse yourselves fully into our world @drawingcabaretcouture

COVID notes: All attendees must prove they took a negative LF / PCR test that day. We are limiting the numbers of attendees to just 4 per session. (So there is plenty of space to move around and draw at your leisure) Masks are not compulsory.

A x2 hour online and in person drawing class starring Jean Paul Gaultier garments and J’adore La Vie inspired costume pieces based on the signature Sailor Gaultier look.

Built into a bespoke set design by Matthew Lawrence and modelled by industry leading agency models and professional dancers of J’adore La Vie.

ABOUT

Inspired by the high fashion cabaret duo’s experience walking the runway for the iconic french designer Jean Paul Gaultier. J’adore La Vie dedicate this drawing class and performance to pushing the boundaries of gender, eroticism and blurring the lines between masculine and feminine.

Taking reference from Gaultier’s trademark sailor image, this drawing class and performance number is a combination of drunken sailor antics, high kicks and striptease. This class is completely gender fluid and will be modelled by both J’adore showgirls and showboys.

We are also thrilled to welcome the one and only Magic Owen who will be shooting this class and has previously photographed Gaultier's perfume advert campaigns including ‘Le belle le parfum’ ‘Le Male On Board’ and also ‘So Scandal’ by Jean Paul Gaultier. We couldn't have asked for anyone more perfect to join the DCC team on board this class with finger waved hair by our favourite Hairdresser Jayson Gray and makeup by Gemma Howell.
