About this Event
The Hot Jazz Vagabonds turn the dining car of the world’s most glamorous train into a whirl of vibrant 1930s jazz, European song and swing, with a playful, murderous hint of Agatha Christie–style mystery along the way. As the train pauses at glittering stations along its legendary route you’ll meet an array of interesting characters each bringing their own musical flavour and surprises to the journey.
Starring the acclaimed singer and actress Airlie Scott and the Hot Jazz Vagabonds, Dave Ahmed and Andy Ruiz Palmer, guitars, Alan Gibson, double bass and Pete Watson, accordion, this brand new show comes from the creators of last year’s five star reviewed Edinburgh Fringe hit, “Paris In A Jazz Age – The Memoirs Of Eloise DeFleur”. Rich in atmosphere, storytelling and irresistible rhythms, “Jazz On The Orient Express” is a high-spirited ‘Jazz Age’ adventure for jazz aficionados and curious minds of all ages. During the evening the performance will be enhanced by some of London’s top vintage swing dancers adding furher colour and energy to the proceedings
