ITAN: A Night of Film, Conversation & Community
Join us on April 3rd for ITAN, a conversational lecture + fundraiser at Wandering Barman! This evening of film, dialogue, and collective action is dedicated to supporting three incredible market women from Onigbongbo and Maryland Market, whose businesses sustain their families and communities yet remain constrained by systemic barriers.
The night will feature:
ποΈ A screening of Record Found Here by the illustrious Lanaire Aderemi
ποΈ A lecture by Jedieal Peterson, a history PhD student, exploring Gender and Power in Colonial West Africa
π£οΈ A dynamic panel discussion led by Eliel Peterson with Farima Kito and Dara Ojugbele
This is an opportunity to turn care into action. Every dollar raised goes directly to these women, ensuring mutual aid extends beyond conversation and into tangible impact.
If you can give, we hope you do. If not, showing up matters too.
