This is part of happeningfish’s doctoral artistic work (!) on emotional labour, affective labour, and transgender stand-up comedy, exploring the relationships between laughter as activism, the limits of allyship, self-deprecation and survival, and what we can understand about each other. For over ten years he’s been making stand-up comedy, running shows like Punch Up! Resistance and Glitter, The Attic Underground, Feminist Comedy Night, and is part of the queer comedy crew Qoomikot.
The work is an artistic part of Jamie MacDonald’s artistic research at Performing Arts Centre Tutke at the Theatre Academy of the Uniarts Helsinki, and is co-produced by Everykaikki ry. The artwork has been supported by the Kone Foundation and the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

No spiked shows may be worn in the premises. Please wear removable spikes or be prepared to remove your spiked shoes at the fifth-floor door.

The NoName Theatre is at Hietaniemenkatu 7 B in Kamppi. The entrance is technically on Lapuankatu, past the K-Market. Ring the "5th Floor" buzzer to the left of the blue gate under the "Keskisuomalainen Osakunta" sign. The main door will probably be unlocked, but if not, ring the fifth-floor buzzer by the door. Once inside, take the elevator up to the fifth floor.
SCHEDULE
The doors to the theatre itself will open 30 minutes before the start.
ACCESSIBILITY
There is an elevator to the fifth floor. Unfortunately, the premises do not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
