About this Event
Join us at Village Well Books & Coffee for a mask-making workshop facilitated by Jacqueline Glosman, LMFT!
Participants will engage in a short letter writing process that will then be used to create masks representing who they are. Participants will transform these masks into a representation of themselves or how they want to see themselves. These masks will not necessarily be the “mask” we sometimes put on and present to the outside world, but a reflection of something genuine and authentic about ourselves.
The materials we will be using are not to be interpreted too literally, but more so to be used symbolically, abstractly, and intuitively. The creative process will integrate intention-setting, tearing of materials, and repurposing of materials. All materials will be provided!
About the facilitator:
Jacqueline Glosman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist working in her own private practice, Jackie G. Therapy. Jacqueline whole-heartedly believes that the process of creating art helps align us with our most authentic-selves and is a powerful tool for self-discovery.
