About this Event
The second installment of Music/Words LA, curated by UCLA Head of Piano Inna Faliks, returns to the Wende with a live program pairing music and the spoken word as equal partners. Faliks is joined by violinist Gilles Apap for an afternoon that continues the series’ exploration of how sound and language shape meaning together. Repertoire details and the featured poet will be announced shortly.
Originally founded by Faliks in New York, Music/Words has become a platform for artists working at the intersection of music and text. This Los Angeles residency at the Wende builds each program around close listening, live exchange, and the shifting balance between composition and language.
