Black @ the Dog Park

Black @ the Dog Park is a casual, come-as-you-are meetup for Black and Brown dog owners who want community, fresh air, and a reason to get out the house during the day.

This isn’t fancy or overproduced. Just pull up expecting to see me, my baby Rashaad, and hopefully lots of familiar and new faces. There are areas for both large and small dogs. Since Rashaad is small, I’m usually posted on the small dog side, but everyone is welcome to move around and connect.

Parking is easy and free on Sundays, with great street parking located up the hill on Duquesne Ave.

This is a conscious effort to combine self-care and community. Our dogs need sunshine, movement, and stimulation, and honestly… so do we. Getting outside, seeing people who look like us, and letting our dogs socialize is good for the soul.
