This is an introductory course for doctors & midwives who are new to, or have limited experience in fetal monitoring.About this Event
The course is focused on pathophysiological approach to CTG interpretation, it helps the participant to use clinical guidelines intelligently, and understand:
- fetal & labour physiology
- the regulation of fetal heart rate decelerations
- fetal defence against hypoxic ischaemic insults during labour, and recognition of patterns that suggest fetal decompensation
- fetal monitoring in high-risk labours
- subtypes of intrapartum fetal hypoxia
- structured and intelligent intermittent auscultation

- Introductory course - Saturday December 10, 2022
- Advanced course - Sunday December 11, 2022

The registration starts at 8:30, followed by the workshop from 09:00 till 17:00
