Come along to this workshop to learn the basics of lino printing!
Lino printing, also known as linocut or linoleum art, is a printmaking technique that involves carving a design into a linoleum surface and then transferring the design onto paper.
Bring along an image you’d like to print (if this includes words, please ensure your printout is reversed). If you’re unsure of what to print, I will have visuals available for you to use. The workshop will be split into two halves: the first half will be dedicated to creating and carving your design, while the second half will focus on printing it.
The workshop will officially finish at 1 pm, but I will extend it for an additional 30 minutes for those who have created more intricate designs and need a bit more time to finish.
Please note: Lino printing involves the use of carving tools, which can cut the skin if used incorrectly. Please follow instructions carefully throughout the workshop.
Cancellation policy: A full refund (minus Eventbrite fees) will be given to cancellations made up to 7 days before the event, no refund will be issued after this date.
