In this workshop, get a hands-on introduction to spray can techniques using the brand, Montana 94.
Efren will break down the basics of clean lines, smooth fades, and layered colors, even stenciling in the foundations of Street Art style of painting. This workshop is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone curious about spray can art.
Topics covered:
- how to handle a spray can with control, flow, and confidence.
- how different Montana 94 caps change your lines, textures, and effects
- how to Stencil or Sketch a simple concept and turn it into a spray-paint art
- layering and color-blending methods
- safety tips and setups for working with spray cans
Students will walk away with their own spray-paint artwork created with Montana 94 and take home a solid foundation in spray can techniques they can incorporate with their own style or in a mixed media art form.
Supply List for Students to Bring:
This is a studio workshop and students will be using the supplies they bring.
- Montana 94 spray cans (2-3 assorted colors)
- apron / paint clothes
- (1) 18 x 24in canvas
There will be a $20 Materials Fee paid directly to the Instructor for providing additional supplies.
