Aging doesn’t have to mean the end of curiosity or sensual adventure — it can be the beginning of a richer, more intentional expression of desire. In this class, we create a supportive space to explore kink — from the foundational principles of consent and communication to ways of adapting activities to suit comfort, mobility, and pleasure at later life stages. Whether you’re curious about sensation play, power dynamics, or simply want to deepen intimacy with a partner, we focus on practical strategies that honor your body and preferences.
We’ll talk about how aging can influence sexual expression and how to navigate that with respect and imagination. Topics include clear negotiation of boundaries, safe word practice, adapting play for comfort and health considerations, and ways to maintain joyful connection with partners. Supporting both newcomers and experienced learners, the class emphasizes empowerment, consent, and pleasure across a wide spectrum of kink interests.
By the end of the session, participants will feel more confident articulating desires, negotiating limits, and engaging in kink play that’s fulfilling and safe — regardless of age. We aim to dismantle age-related sexual stigmas and celebrate kink as a vibrant, life-affirming part of adult intimacy.
This class is in collaboration with the Center on Colfax and their West of 50 group. Any seniors are encouraged to attend!
About Your Instructor: Goddess Mak is a kink educator, dominatrix and proud Black queer woman from Chicago. Her interest in kink began 15 years ago when she met a domme in a human sexuality seminar course. That interaction birthed a curiosity that would blossom into one of her greatest joys- being a Femme-Domme. She’s passionate about empowering women and creating spaces for them to learn, grow and heal together. She currently teaches how to use restraints at Sexploratorium kink tastings, leads a monthly women’s empowerment circle and educates kinksters on domme-ing and more.
