About this Event
🌿 International Women’s Day Gathering
Move. Connect. Empower.

📍 Lake Pupuke, Takapuna
🗓 March 8
⏰ 9:00AM – 12:30PM

This International Women’s Day, Wander Wild Sisters invites you to gather outdoors for a powerful morning of movement, connection, and community.

This is not just another event.
It’s a space to slow down, reflect, and celebrate what it means to be a woman — together.

✨ You are welcome to join for the full morning or simply attend the part that feels aligned for you. There is no pressure to stay for everything.

✨ What to Expect
🧘‍♀️ 9:00AM – Outdoor Yoga

We begin with a grounding yoga session in nature.
Accessible to all levels, this practice is about intention, breath, and reconnecting to your body.

No performance. No pressure. Just presence.

(You’re welcome to come just for yoga.)

💬 10:30AM – Empowerment Circle

After yoga, we’ll gather in a facilitated circle.

A safe, welcoming space to:
• Share experiences
• Reflect on confidence and growth
• Talk honestly about challenges
• Celebrate resilience
• Connect with other women

You are never required to speak.
Listening is just as powerful.

(You’re welcome to arrive just for the circle.)

🥐 11:30AM – Community Picnic Brunch

Bring something simple to share (optional) and stay for relaxed connection time.

Meet new women. Have real conversations. Build community.

(Come just for brunch and connection if that’s what your morning allows.)

🎁 Supporting the Next Generation

As part of this event, we are collecting gently used (good condition) outdoor gear to donate to Journey.

Journey delivers free outdoor adventure programmes for girls and young women, helping them build resilience, confidence, and life skills through nature.

We are specifically collecting:
• Thermal tights & warm base layers
• Merino hats, socks & gloves
• Fleece or mid-layer tops
• Trail walking/running shoes with good grip
• Adventure backpacks suitable for tramping

Many girls currently attend hikes without proper packs or warm gear.

Empowerment starts with access.

If you have equipment sitting unused, bring it along and help another young woman say yes to adventure.

🌊 Who This Is For

This gathering is for you if:
• You crave deeper connection
• You want to celebrate International Women’s Day intentionally
• You’re navigating change or growth
• You want to meet like-minded women
• You believe in lifting the next generation

No prior experience needed.
Come as you are.

📌 What to Bring

• Yoga mat (if attending yoga)
• Picnic blanket
• Water bottle
• Something small to share (optional)
• Any outdoor gear donations
• An open heart

Spots are limited to keep the circle intimate.

Whether you join us for one part or the full morning — you are welcome here 🤍
