About Nikky Catto
Nikky grew up in Belfast and planned to move to London for a year. Her first job was a make-up artist at The Oval and her first flat was in Waterloo. 25 years later South London is her forever home. She swapped her make-up kit for South London's buildings, people and places as a writer and tour guide.
She is interested in architecture, open spaces, mixing the lives and history of everyday London with the global reputation of London. Her tours always link the modern and historic and look to reach demographics who may not have considered a guided tour as ‘for them.’ For her London is the greatest city in the world because of its people. People make cities and people make the best stories.
Nikky likes to make her tours informative, interesting and entertaining through storytelling. She wants everyone to feel welcome and plans with accessibility in mind.
This event is made possible thanks to a grant from , with thanks to National Lottery players.
