About this Event
Design Your Life: a one-day LGBT group coaching workshop (London)
Design Your Life is a guided, focused day that helps you step out of autopilot and make deliberate choices about what comes next.
Through short research-based inputs, practical tools, and thoughtful conversation, you’ll move from clarity to action, supported by a like-minded group.
Is it for me?
Most people arrive feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension, and quickly realise they’re not alone. They're tired of feeling that life's a bit flat or running on autopilot. They leave clearer, inspired and energised with concrete next steps they actually want to take. That may relate to careers, connections, meaning, health, relationships ... or any aspect of their experience.
What it's like on the day
You’ll arrive in a relaxed, comfortable, human space. Most people arrive feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension, and quickly realise they’re not alone.
The day is guided and facilitated and deliberately unpressured. You can expect:
- Short, thoughtful research-based inputs
- Time working on your own, in pairs, and in small groups
- No pressure to share anything personal - listening is always welcome
- Practical tools and materials to work with and take away
- Space for conversation, questions and your best thinking
Often, it’s the simple, unexpected conversations and the momentum of the group that make the biggest difference. Most people leave feeling clearer, lighter, and quietly energised.
ABOUT NEIL - (your facilitator!)
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with people who want to grow — from senior leaders shaping global organisations to individuals quietly asking, “What’s next for me?”
What really drives my work isn’t corporate success, but human potential.
I bring together the structure and pragmatism of the business world with the perspective of my Buddhist practice, creating a style that’s calm, grounded and focused on what actually helps people move forward. I’ve led leadership programmes at Partner and Board level and logged close to a thousand hours of coaching, but the moments that matter most are simple ones: when someone sees themselves more clearly and finds the confidence to act on it.
I’m also a strong believer that personal development shouldn’t be reserved for the privileged few. That’s why I run donation-based programmes and work with underrepresented groups — to make space for thoughtful, meaningful work that’s accessible, human and real.
