Welcome to International Women's Day #GiveToGain - Building Resilience through Adversity! Join us at NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator, 3rd Floor, One Kingsway, Cardiff, CF10 3AQ on March 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Europe/London). Guest speakers include Sarah Boswell, who is the current CEO of Wales Netball, we has seen first hand how sport can bring people together and build resilience that supports off court, in times when you need it most.
During the event we will also hear from our amazing panel of guest speakers who have each built resilience through innovation, collaboration and through working in high pressured and critical situations.
Jacqui Murray is a leader dedicated to building resilience through innovation and collaboration. As Director of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult for South Wales, she drives the adoption of digital and automation technologies to strengthen Wales’ manufacturing sector.
Kirstin Jenkins: Kirstin brings 15 years’ leadership experience as a Local Director, overseeing 10+ branches and 120 staff. Her resilience shines through adapting to challenges within the evolving financial sector. Passionate about Welsh language and culture, she led the creation of the Welsh Language Policy, strengthening connection and inclusion. As Deputy Chair of NatWest Cymru Board, Kirstin embraces growth and new responsibilities, exemplifying adaptability. Balancing leadership with motherhood, she embodies strength and perseverance, fostering resilient, inclusive teams that drive progress .
Dr Ami Jones MBE is a Consultant in Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine, and Pre‑Hospital Emergency Medicine serving with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. She began working on the Wales Air Ambulance Charity’s vehicles in 2015 and was a founding medic of the Charity’s medical partners, the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS).
Dr Jones is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps (Reserves) and has completed two tours in Afghanistan with the Medical Emergency Response Team. She was awarded an MBE in 2017 for her contributions to military and civilian critical care, and holds honorary academic roles at Bangor and Cardiff universities.
