About this Event

UCL’s People and Nature Lab and the Bat Conservation Trust present an evening to celebrate and connect with bats at the International Bat Appreciation Day Fest.

We will screen The Invisible Mammal, an inspiring documentary about scientists fighting to save bats from white-nose syndrome, followed by a Q&A session with UCL and Bat Conservation Trust bat researchers. Then, join us for a bat walk through Olympic Park, ending with a celebration and bat-related drinks at a pub in Hackney Wick.

Everyone is welcome! Join us for an event exploring the secret world of the night's superheroes. While this event is free to attend, your optional support helps the Bat Conservation Trust protect the UK’s 18 incredible bat species. Every contribution saves vital habitats, funds the National Bat Helpline, and powers the ground-breaking science and monitoring needed to secure a future for these nocturnal guardians.
