About this Event
Join us for this unique event to walk side-by-side, visit diverse places of worship, and reflect together on community unity in Kingston. You are welcome to join all or part of the programme.
The route and highlights
We'll meet at 1:00pm in front of the Guildhall to begin our journey. Stops confirmed so far include:
- St Raphael's Catholic Church
- Kingston Orthodox Synagogue
- Mid-way: Kingston University and Kingston Muslim Youth will co-host a talk on "What our youth believes" with refreshments provided.
- Kingston Quaker Centre
- 5.30pm - 7pm All Saints Church: The walk ends with a dialogue and dinner event titled "Unity in Community," facilitated by the Dialogue Society. Panellists include Revd Joe Moffatt (All Saints), Dr Sarah Mehdi (Surrey Islamic Centre), and Mr Madhur Hemnani (Namaste Kingston).
Important notes and registration
- Registration Deadline: Please register for your free ticket by Monday, November 17th. This helps us plan attendance, refreshments and dinner.
- Programme updates: We are currently confirming additional stops and panellists. A full, detailed programme and itinerary will be shared with all registered participants before the event.
- Practical tip: Remember to wear warm clothing and comfortable shoes for the approximate three-mile route.
