About this Event
If Instagram has been sitting on your to-do list for a while, this workshop is for you.
Maybe you've set up a profile but aren't really using it. Maybe you post occasionally but have no idea if it's working. Or maybe you just feel like everyone else knows something you don't.
This workshop is designed to change that.
In a couple of hours, you'll go from feeling uncertain and inconsistent to having a clear picture of how Instagram actually works — and exactly what to do next.
What you’ll learn
- How to set up your profile so people quickly understand what you do
- Posting - without overthinking it
- How Instagram works (in plain English)
- A realistic approach to posting and growing your audience
- How to engage with others and start building momentum
Who it’s for
If you'd like to be sharing your work on Instagram but find it all a bit confusing -this is the perfect place to start.
Whether you're a professional artist, a hobbyist, or somewhere in between. The only thing that matters is that you enjoy what you make. Instagram can do the rest - this workshop just shows you how.
What you’ll leave with
- A clear understanding of how Instagram works
- Ideas for what to post next
- The confidence to start (or restart) sharing your work
You’ll also get a practical PDF guide after the session, so you don’t need to remember everything.
This is the first in a three-part series for artists and makers who want to grow their visibility and (eventually) sell more of their work. You can also take this as a standalone session too.
About your host
I’m Charlotte - a ceramic artist and also a social media strategist with 15+ years’ experience.
Since October 2025, I’ve grown my own ceramics content to over 20 million views, building an engaged audience and generating real commissions through Instagram.
I combine my extensive industry experience with what’s working right now to teach practical, realistic ways to use Instagram as an artist or maker.
Praise for Charlotte's previous workshops
Really helpful and enjoyable - just the right level of detail if you don't understand the detail of social media."
"A really good use of time. Charlotte is a clear and fun presenter, and the hands-on work really embeds the learning."
"It was both informative and enjoyable, set in a relaxed environment. I now feel confident I could put these tips into practice straight away."
