A monthly film + conversation series using storytelling to spark honest dialogue around mental health and healing.
About this Event

Inspiring Films is a monthly community series by the Finding Inspiration Foundation that blends the power of storytelling with open dialogue on mental health. Each month features a new short film centered on a different theme—from depression and addiction to relationships, parenting, and beyond—followed by a guided conversation where participants can reflect, ask questions, and connect with one another.

These events are designed to break stigma, build community, and connect people to real resources for support and healing. Whether you’ve lived through similar experiences, know someone who has, or simply want to learn and be part of the dialogue, Inspiring Films welcomes you.

Upcoming Events:

  • November 20 – Men’s Mental Health: The Conversation Within
At this month’s event, we’ll dive into one of the most overlooked but powerful aspects of mental and emotional well-being: our internal dialogue.
How we interact with the world around us—our relationships, our work, even our sense of purpose—is often a reflection of what’s happening inside. The way we talk to ourselves, the assumptions we make, and the beliefs we carry from our upbringing and society all shape how we show up in the world.

Through film, open discussion, and personal stories, we’ll explore:

  • The power of self-talk and how it shapes our reality
  • How nature, nurture, and environment influence our behavior
  • The importance of clarity over assumption in communication
  • The lifelong practice of “knowing thyself” and what authenticity truly means

This conversation isn’t just for men—it’s for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of how internal healing leads to external transformation.

  • December 18 – Triggers & Our Mental Health
A short film and discussion on how life’s triggers can resurface past traumas and affect our daily lives.

All events are free and open to the public.
