Berlin-based saxophonist Philipp Gropper is one of the most distinctive and uncompromising voices in contemporary European jazz and improvised music. Known for his long-running projects PHILM and TAU, Gropper consistently develops new musical forms that connect sound, society and politics. His music addresses social structures, privilege and global conflict — urgent, physical and deeply expressive.
For Inside…, Philipp Gropper presents two brand-new collectives:
Reznichenko/Haberl/Gropper

Andi Haberl – drums, trigger drums, sampler
A collective trio that throws us back into the psychedelic spirit of 1970s krautrock. Experimental, driving and open — all three musicians contribute equally to a sound that leaves wide space for improvisation and transformation.
