Ink Chain - A Collaborative Zine Event

This is an event where we create zines! Here's how it works:

We all come with a word that means something to us. (Don't worry, if you don't have a word, we'll do some team brainstorming at the event).

Let's say, Coffee is your word. You have a little booklet (zine) and you decorate the first page, on theme with coffee. This can be a collage, a painting, a journal entry, lyrics, a memory, whatever comes to mind. Then, you pass it to the next person, who, fills out the next page of your coffee zine.

At the end, you have a little booklet of "coffee" created in different art styles, memories, collages, from everyone in the room.

It's a GREAT conversation starter, a GREAT way to get to know your friends, and a GREAT way to make new friends. From an art perspective, it's a fantastic way to get an art or journal prompt when you're a little stuck.
