Surprise! Dorothy is opening on Tuesdays starting in April and we have a couple of new events for you including Industry Night where we celebrate femme and nonbinary talent in the culinary world by inviting them to pop up with us and offer bites of what they do best.
Our kickoff event is on Tuesday April 8th with Chef Jasmine Sheth!
Jasmine, a James Beard Foundation grant recipient, is the founder and chef behind Tasting India, a queer-owned spice company known for its handcrafted, micro-batch spice blends and Indian chili oil. Tasting India’s mission is to break down stereotypes surrounding Indian cuisine and highlight the versatility of spices across global culinary traditions.
Jasmine will be offering a small menu for attendees to purchase along with spices from her collection.
Doors open at 6pm with a one hour happy hour. RSVPs and entry is free! Purchases are made directly with Jasmine, while supplies last. Dorothy remains open until last call at 11pm.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door on Campbell Ave with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799

Raised in a family of strong, creative women, Jasmine’s passion for food was ignited by childhood memories of cooking with her aunts and learning the art of spices from her mother.
