Pot Is Drugs
We’re Pot Is Drugs, a genre fluid indie rock band from London, Ontario. Our sound blends gritty guitars, vulnerable lyrics, and shoutable choruses into something we call Southern Ontario awkrock. We take inspiration from indie and garage rock staples like The Strokes, Jack White, and The Black Keys, along with modern alt heroes like Cage the Elephant, Superheaven, and Basement. Our debut self-titled EP came out in April. It is a six track mix of big feelings, hard hitting riffs, and raw energy. Songs like What’s It Like, Just Be Honest, and Take Me to the Place show the full range of what we do.
The Harriets
The Harriets are a rock band from Toronto, Ontario, with an eclectic style featuring elements of psychedelic rock, folk, and surf in their music. Beginning as a two-piece act by songwriters Oscar Lemmond and Jacob D'Souza, they began recording and releasing their work independently. Following sessions at Dreamhouse Studios, Colin Bracken, recording engineer for their song "Someday", would join them as bassist. After auditioning and working with several drummers, they landed on Marcus Reid (AKA Planes Jesus) from Toronto collective "Hazed Records”.
The Hidden Meanings
The Hidden Meanings have been playing hook-laden banger originals and eclectic covers in Toronto venues since 2017. Ranging from the Beatles, Hendrix and psychedelic rock to The Clash, Motown and 80’s new wave, THM’s engaging stage presence and unique musical DNA promises to get you singing along and dancing until you drop.
